Flooring

We have our own floor finishers; our work is not contracted out to other floor companies. Alan Tracy has over 20 years of floor finishing experience and has completed floors in restaurants, churches, offices, shops and stores, museums, banks and private homes.

Our sanding machines are top of the range and are over 98% dust free. The lacquer we use is either Traffic or Mega from Bona a world leading international Swedish Company specializing in high performance floor lacquers and finishing systems which is water based, highly durable and requires very little maintenance.

The finishes are suitable for both commercial and domestic properties and all our staff have regular contact with Bona and are kept up to date on any of their new products.

We will sand your floor to bare wood using a full range of belts. We can then stain the wood to a colour of your choice using our professional french polishing skills or you can keep it natural, the floor is then sealed with 3 coats of lacquer in the sheen you require. Bona also provide a floor care cleaning kit which we will supply and leave with you on completion of the floor.

If new timber is required we will do our best to find a match and if a match is not available, we will find the nearest and use our french polishing skills to make it blend in to your existing timber.

We can also take out old fire hearths and replace with wood to blend in with your existing floor before sanding and refinishing.

We also lay floors. Parquett blocks, solid boards and prefinished engineered. We work closely with the wood supplier who has a huge range of quality flooring.
